Material:
The mild steel used in the manufacture of the plates, stays and cleats conform to the requirement of BS 4360:1972 grade 43A.

Tank Panels:
Hydraulically pressed panel sizes are 1220mm x 1220mm or 1m x 1m square.

Finish:
- Panels can be Standard Bitumen coated
- Hot Dipped Galvanised complying to BS 729:1971 / ISO 1461:2009.

Flanges of Panels:
Plates shall be pressed with a combined double flange at an angle of 45 degree and 90 degree to the face of the plate on all four sides. The flanges holed according to the respective position of the plate in the tank and free from irregularities.

Covers:
Typical metal sheet or pressed panel cover of similiar size and material, fabricated with 600mm manhole access and insect proof vent supplied as standard for each compartment of tank.

Stays & Cleats:
The sides and ends of all tanks shall be supported by stays at the junction of two or more plates. The end of the stays shall be attached to the cleats or tank plates by bolts. Material used on stays and cleats shall be made from mild steel angles and plates respectively.

Bolts and Nuts:
Hot Dipped Galvanised bolts, nuts and washer conform to BS 4190.

Jointing Compound:
Non - Toxic odourless, PVC foam sealant shall be used.

Water Level Indicator:
Mechanical pulley type mild steel with paint coating.
Choices of metric or imperial scale.

Ladders:
Hot Dipped Galvanised internal and external cat ladder provided. Aluminium and Stainless Steel ladders are available upon request.

Extras:
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) lining of tank also available.
